Hey guys! Wow day 3 of the DISCO LIGHT shoot was fun. As we get closer to day 4 the day we shoot the final scene I get more and more ansy. Seriously. This video I tell ya... But.. Moving on.. So this Friday we play a show for the ULTRA VIOLET PETTING ZOO RSVP AMD COME!! It'll be a hoot!

GOOD LAWD
Holy Moly it's been a bit. Whoops on the absence. Currently sitting at Soundscape Studio post vocals scratchy throat blogging while our friend Mike Kohlar mixes down "Disco Light". Here we go to fill you all in on other stuff.. This past month has really been a doozy. We played a rad show to a packed house at Untitled. So fun. Can't believe the crowd. It was amazing.
This past week with the help of our manager who helped us stay organized and on point, we filmed our video for new single " DISCO LIGHT" with the help of Matt DiMare and Joshua Lustig. Think 70's garb with girls on roller skates in a time you wish you were born in to enjoy (I'm just assuming people reading this are 80's or 90's babies) Anyway we fully wrap in a few weeks after we film our last few scenes. Being around all the people involved with the production and filming of this video has been such a blast I'm stoked we have more time to hang and laugh together. We all worked so hard making this happen I CAN'T HARDLY WAIT to release both song and video.
We have a few shows planned this summer but I'll be sure to update and let yalls know whats up.

Tiny update
Hi there !
Major changes in the Lux horizon. We decided to CANCEL our West Coast tour. Very sad but true. Reasons being that we have a ton on our plate right now and a tour is an extravagant ordeal that we felt staying in Chicago for May was just an all around better idea. Since well be staying here we will be releasing a brand new song DISCO LIGHT and the video very soon after that. We are so stoked about this song. Both Fonz and I agree its been a while since we released a new song that we were truly truly excited about. This summer will be insane. We can't wait!!

MORNING!
WHEWEE. So if you weren't at our show last Thursday you missed an epic night. But don't fret go to this LINK to watch the entire show. It takes two seconds to create a profile and then you can view tons of archived shows that have played at the Double Door and for future shows as well. Oh yeah and it's FREE. Anyway we had a blast. Moon Furies killed it and as always Perfect kiss killed it. Distant Cities was great can't wait to see them blow up in the Chicago scene.
NEWS- Glass Lux wrote a brand new song, DISCO LIGHT. Believe me when I tell you this it's your new summertime theme. We love love love this new music baby we've made. Just as soon as we hit the recording studio and get everything clean and peachy it'll make its way to your ears. Prom prom.
Still working on our west coast tour. Its about a month.5 away.

GOOD TO BE BACH
Wow ! Hi okay so Glass Lux is back from AUSTIN. South by South West was amazing to say the very least. We truly had a blast. We played some really rad shows, made some new friends and bonded as band which is quite priceless. The van broke down and we had some minor issues but everything worked out. We are here aren't we?? We had the craziest opportunity to open up for MOS DEF. Yeah random but awesome right? All thanks to a good friend of ours Hollywood Hold aka Nigel Holt. He and guy named Joel put on a show every year down at SX called Chocolate Sundays and Mos Def was a surprises to us all the day of the show. We had almost no video from Austin.. Anybody take any while there? Photos even? Please send them our way and we will credit you.
OK I feel like everyone is sick of everyone talking about how rad SXSW was and blah blah blah FINE. I'm done. I think i just keep going on about it cause I miss that 80 degree weather. Nothing like coming back to ol 27 degree Chicaggy. Le sigh..
SO on for news. We are recording a live studio session this up coming Monday. Yes, we have been putting it on the back burner and postponing the shit out of it but hey, life happens. But seriously though well get you that live session. We're excited. It's gonna be rad. THENNNNNN that Thursday 3/28 BIG SHOW ..Double Door here in Chicago YEHAW!!
